Established in 2024, Upp Studio is a Chicago-based workroom specializing in custom furniture, upholstery, and restoration.

Led by co-founder Noam Nayberg, each piece is fabricated through design development, prototyping, and meticulous attention to detail. In our Chicago workroom, woodworkers and upholsterers work side by side, merging traditional techniques with modern methods to produce furniture of exceptional quality and comfort. Every project reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and collaboration.

Whether building new custom furniture or restoring a cherished piece, we prioritize materials and techniques that ensure both durability and refinement. Kiln-dried hardwood frames, hand-tied springs, and down-filled cushions form the foundation of our custom furniture work, while our reupholstery and restoration practice draws on our team’s decades of experience to revive well-loved pieces through time-honored skills and creative problem-solving.
