Upp Studio is a Chicago-based furniture making workroom specializing in custom furniture, upholstery, and woodworking. Founded by Noam Nayberg, who turned years of apprenticeship and his one-man workshop into a furniture company with production facilities and a dedicated team of fine craftspeople. Today, the company serves a growing roster of interior designers, architects, hospitality groups, and private residential clients.

Our work spans across three areas:

• ongoing development of original ‘Noam Atelier’ furniture products.

• bespoke custom commissioned fabrication for clients.

• reupholstery & restoration of cherished furnishings and antiques.

We prioritize materials and techniques that ensure both durability and refinement. Kiln-dried hardwood frames, hand-tied springs, and down-filled cushions form the foundation of our custom furniture work, while our reupholstery and restoration practice draws on our team’s decades of experience to revive well-loved pieces through time-honored skills and profound dedication to the craft.
